Hernan Lopez is the Co-Founder and Chairperson of Danvas. Danvas is bringing digital art into the real world through an elegant, museum-worthy display. The Company’s first digital display, the Series G, debuted at the 2022 New York Armory Show. Danvas’ luxury displays are designed to bring digital artwork to life as the artist envisioned. By displaying and reinforcing the authenticity of their work, Danvas empowers artists to grow their art practice and gain exposure to a larger audience, and empower collectors to acquire more digital and NFT art.

Hernan Lopez Previous Endeavors

Prior to Danvas, Hernan was the founder and CEO of Wondery, a premium podcast studio, which Amazon acquired in 2021. Wondery is known for character-driven, binge-worthy podcasts including Dirty John, Dr. Death, American History Tellers, Business Wars, The Shrink Next Door, and WeCrashed.

Previously, Lopez was President and CEO of Fox International Channels. During his 18-year tenure, Hernan’s division grew rapidly to become an industry leader. He led the launch of hundreds of channels in the entertainment, factual, and sports verticals outside of the US, as well as production and digital extensions. He also served as CEO and a board member of National Geographic Channels International.

He proudly chairs the Hernan Lopez Family Foundation (HLFF), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping address diversity in leadership. The vision and mission of HLFF is to advance the fight against systemic bias and racism while empowering professionals from historically marginalized communities to overcome barriers and break through professional ceilings.

Lopez is also a founding member and Governor of The Podcast Academy. He previously served on the board of GLAAD, and now serves on the board of the Latino Donor Collaborative. 

A native of Argentina, Hernan moved to Miami in 1997, where he obtained an MBA from the University Of Miami. Today he lives in Los Angeles with his family.
